Loving the feel of Just working with these small parts you just know are high quality! The plastic awl fitted perfectly in my ratchet I've had since the at least the 1990's. Bam, bam,BAM! With a few tricks I've learned over the decades, like threading a snap ring before the wrestling match and a good dab of grease on a ball bearing before praying it's stronger than" the equal and opposite reaction".

This worked great! Could have swapped out my craftsman 3/8 ratchet for a brand new on made in china but by replacing the internals from Carolina Abby tools I have a fully functioning ratchet again and it’s still 100% USA made. They don’t make them like this anymore so preserving my USA tools means I can pass those down.
Everything was in great condition. When I opened the box I thought “wow, how cool. Just like back in the day.” Shipped fast and was packaged in the best way I’ve ever seen. Will be buying in the future.

Great shape. I suspect these guys take everything apart and reset everything to new/like new shape. These used turners feel like new. I’d recommend Carolina Abbey all day long.
Came quick enough, was in no hurry. I’d be surprised if it took me 10 minutes to do the whole thing. I haven’t gave the ratchet a good hearty workout yet, but I’m sure it will work just fine.
Got the kit in and it fit just right ratchet runs its best since it was brand new !

After almost forty-six years, my circa 1980 Sears Craftsman 3/8” drive finally gave out. I bought a new “Craftsman” brand drive, but its quality was nothing like the old one. Finding a genuine Sears Craftsman rebuild kit was almost miraculous. In the end the re-built drive likely cost 10X what the drive cost me in 1980, but one of the tools that I depend on more than the rest is now back in my toolbox.
